Umm Al-Qura University Wins Six Awards in International Commercial Arbitration Competition
Umm Al-Qura University achieved a new academic milestone as its students won six awards at the 2026 International Commercial Arbitration Competition. The competition saw wide participation from 144 Arab and Islamic universities and 996 students, with Umm Al-Qura University ranking second among Arab universities and first among Saudi universities in terms of the number of awards won.
The achievement was the result of strong teamwork and sustained effort. The university was represented by students from the College of Judicial Studies and Regulations, who delivered an outstanding performance across the competition’s various tracks.
This accomplishment reflects Umm Al-Qura University’s academic standing and leadership in preparing qualified legal professionals capable of regional competition, and highlights the excellence of its students and their ability to represent the university with distinction in specialized academic forums.
