Saudi Arabia, Mauritania Discuss Civil Defense Ties

Director General of Civil Defense Major General Dr. Hamoud Al-Faraj received Mauritania’s General Delegate for Civil Security and Crisis Management Major General Abou El Maaly El Hady Sidi Ould Amar.
 During the meeting, held at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Civil Defense in Riyadh, the two sides discussed the distinguished ties between Saudi Arabia and Mauritania in the field of civil defense, in addition to a number of topics of mutual interest.
 They also explored ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in public safety and prevention, risk management, and emergency and crisis response.
 The discussions emphasized the importance of unifying efforts and developing joint work mechanisms to improve readiness, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen institutional cooperation, in line with the shared interests and aspirations of the leadership of the two brotherly countries.
