Yemeni Residents Say 'Global Harmony' Reflects Saudi Efforts to Bolster Fraternal Bonds

Yemeni residents participating in the "Global Harmony 2" initiative praised the events as a unique platform for cultural and human exchange. While offering an opportunity to explore the cultural diversity of participating countries, the initiative showcases Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting arts and heritage and fostering fraternal bonds among peoples.

 Faisal Al-Khalidi noted that the Kingdom provides an ideal and stable environment for Yemenis and other expatriates to live and work, commending the coordination among various authorities to serve residents. He added that he visits the event with his children to introduce them to their cultural roots and broaden their horizons.

 Ali Faris, who has lived in Saudi Arabia for 48 years, described the events as a joyful experience, expressing surprise at the scale of the event and the expansive spaces allocated, reflecting the Kingdom’s appreciation for its resident communities.

 Said Baswidan, who traveled from Jeddah to Riyadh with his family to attend, described the visit as enjoyable and highlighted the importance of the event as a cultural platform that connects communities. He noted that the initiative provides a bridge to his children, who have never visited their homeland, to their culture and identity.

 As part of the Global Harmony 2 initiative organized by the Ministry of Media in collaboration with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and the Quality of Life Program, Yemen Culture Week continues to host a range of artistic and heritage performances. The events reflect the richness and diversity of Yemeni traditions, attracting families and visitors from various nationalities, who explore different aspects of Yemeni life, traditional lifestyles across the country, and local attire representing the nation’s cultural diversity.
