WAMY Launches Seventh Eye Surgery Program in Nigeria

The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has launched its seventh eye surgery program today at the Kebbi State's Teaching Hospital, located near the Nigerian border. This initiative is part of WAMY's ongoing efforts to assist underserved communities across Africa.
The program aims to perform 1,000 eye surgeries, provide 600 pairs of eyeglasses, and distribute free medication to 2,000 patients. So far, the medical team has successfully completed 85 surgeries.
Director of WAMY's office in Nigeria Hisham Abdelsalam commended the significant humanitarian efforts carried out by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia worldwide, particularly in the areas of relief, development, and enhancing quality of life.
