Saudi Geological Survey to Launch New Data Package
The Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) will launch Friday a new package of specialized geological data, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the mining sector’s role as a strategic economic driver aligned with the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030.
The launch will include the release of 37 new airborne geophysical maps, which will be added to the National Geological Database. This will bring the total number of published maps to 201, all of which will be available through the National Geological Database platform. The maps will serve as keys to mineral wealth and roadmap toward targeted investments that contribute to building a diverse economic future.
