Fifth Saudi International Marine Exhibition Opens in Riyadh

 The fifth edition of the Saudi International Marine Exhibition (SIMEC) is open today, 26 January, in Riyadh, bringing together industry stakeholders from around the world.
 The three-day exhibition will be held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center under the patronage of Vice Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Mansour Al-Mushaiti.
 The exhibition will showcase the latest technologies and innovations in aquaculture, fisheries, feed, algae, seafood processing, shipbuilding, and port services. It will also highlight promising investment opportunities and promote cooperation between local and international investors.
 SIMEC has established itself as a leading global platform that brings together experts, decision-makers, and key stakeholders in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors.
 The upcoming edition will feature participants from more than 30 countries, with over 120 local and international companies and organizations taking part. Attendance is expected to include around 3,500 local business leaders, 450 international business leaders, and more than 15,000 visitors, alongside representatives from 15 government entities and five international pavilions.
 The exhibition is expected to witness the signing of 15 cooperation agreements, underscoring its growing regional and global standing.
 By providing a global platform for engagement with international partners, SIMEC showcases cutting-edge solutions in the fisheries industry and contributes to forging strategic partnerships that support investment growth.
 The exhibition also addresses challenges related to food security and the sustainability of the fisheries sector, while enabling direct engagement with Saudi decision-makers and reinforcing the Kingdom’s leading role in hosting specialized international events.
