KSrelief Launches Saudi Noor Voluntary Project to Combat Blindness, its Causes in Sri Lanka
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched the Saudi Noor Voluntary Project to combat blindness and the diseases that cause it in Hambantota Camp, Sri Lanka.
The KSrelief volunteer medical team has examined 4,500 cases, distributed 600 pairs of eyeglasses, and performed 115 specialized eye surgeries, all of which were successful.
This project, one of the aid initiatives offered by Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, aims to support the medical sector and assist patients and those suffering from eye diseases in other countries by assisting low-income patients who experience eye diseases.
