Saudi Arabia Wins Silver and Bronze at Asian Road Cycling Championship 2026

Two athletes from the Saudi national cycling team achieved a new milestone by winning silver and bronze medals in the Masters category at the 2026 Asian Road Cycling Championships, being held in Qassim Region from February 5 to 13, with the participation of 700 cyclists from 30 Asian countries.
 Faisal Al-Shaya secured the silver medal in the men’s Masters individual time trial after completing the 20-kilometer race in 27 minutes and 19 seconds. Ahmad Al-Omrani claimed the bronze medal, finishing the race in 28 minutes and 17 seconds, amid strong competition from Asia’s top cyclists.
 The two athletes were crowned by President of the Saudi Cycling Federation Abdulaziz Al-Shahrani, who praised their outstanding performance and noted that the results reflect the significant progress the sport has made in the Kingdom.
 The 2026 Asian Road Cycling Championships feature broad participation from Asian national teams, with competitions held across multiple categories and routes in Qassim Region over 10 consecutive days.
