Prophet’s Mosque Ensures Comfort and Spiritual Tranquility for Itikaf Observers
The Prophet’s Mosque is hosting 3,200 worshippers for Itikaf during the final 10 days of Ramadan. Participants, who include 2,400 men on the mosque’s eastern upper floor and 800 women in designated areas of the eastern expansion, come from various nationalities.
Registration was mandatory through the official electronic platform of the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque to manage capacity and organization.
To support these worshippers, the authority has provided a comprehensive range of free services, including four main halls divided into 48 sections with individual lockers. Nutritional support features round-the-clock beverages and iftar and suhoor meals. Additional services include field guidance, translation for non-Arabic speakers, ongoing cleaning and maintenance, and dedicated healthcare and first aid.
These initiatives aim to create a tranquil and spiritually enriching environment, allowing worshippers to focus entirely on their religious devotion during this holy month.
