KSrelief Rehabilitates 49 Schools in Syria

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has rehabilitated 49 damaged schools across the Syrian governorates of Aleppo, Rif Dimashq, Homs, and Idlib, benefiting more than 50,000 students, as well as teaching and administrative staff.
The initiative is part of an educational assets restoration program in Syria, which aims to rehabilitate and equip 60 damaged schools in its current phase. The program includes providing school furniture, educational equipment, and electronic devices; installing solar power systems; rehabilitating educational facilities and restrooms; and supplying 60 classroom units.
During the launch ceremony, Saudi Ambassador to Syria Ghazi Al-Enezi emphasized that these projects reflect Saudi Arabia's humanitarian support through KSrelief. He said the support comes under the directives and with the keen interest of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as the follow-up and support of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He noted that the initiative stems from the Kingdom's belief that education is a fundamental right and that returning children to classrooms is a crucial step toward recovery and stability. He added that the projects help sustain the educational process and provide students with a safe and suitable learning environment.
The initiative extends the Kingdom's humanitarian support for the Syrian people through KSrelief. It contributes to recovery efforts and the restoration of essential services, particularly education. It also helps provide a safe and dignified learning environment while upholding children's right to continue their education.
