Civil Defense Urges Avoiding Swimming in Places Where Water Collects or Crossing Valleys After Rainfall

The Directorate General of Civil Defense issued a warning against swimming in areas where water collects or crossing valleys after rainfalls, and generally advising people to stay away from valleys and low-lying areas.
The Civil Defense also asked people to be cautious and follow the safety instructions and guidelines that were broadcast via different media and social media sites. To get help in an emergency, one may call 911 In Riyadh, Makkah, and the Eastern regions, and 998 in the rest of the Kingdom.
