King Salman International Airport Reveals New Brand Identity, Signaling a New Era in Aviation
The King Salman International Airport Development Company (KSIADC), a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has unveiled the official brand identity for King Salman International Airport (KSIA). This launch marks a significant step forward in the development of what is poised to be one of the world’s most ambitious and technologically advanced aviation hubs.
Under the new tagline, “Your Journey… Your Destination,” the brand encapsulates KSIA’s vision to redefine the travel experience through a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and a passenger-centric design philosophy. As the future gateway to Riyadh and a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the airport is set to become a global landmark that transforms how travelers experience aviation.
Marco Mejia, Acting CEO of KSIADC, highlighted the brand launch as a pivotal moment in the company’s journey. He emphasized the project’s focus on creating a next-generation airport that leverages cutting-edge digital infrastructure and seamless integration with the city of Riyadh. According to Mejia, the goal is to position KSIA not merely as a transit point, but as a unique destination in its own right, offering travelers an experience that goes beyond traditional airport services.
The brand reveal represents a new chapter in the airport’s development journey, as construction gains momentum and the project advances toward several key public-facing milestones. The new brand identity is built on four core values that reflect the airport’s ambitious vision. These values include being Humanly Driven, which prioritizes the passenger experience at every touchpoint; Effortlessly Simple, ensuring a seamless and intuitive journey for all travelers; Timelessly Innovative, committing to continuous advancement and technological excellence; and Distinctively Local, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Saudi Arabia. Together, these values underscore the airport’s ambition to transform how airports serve both travelers and their surrounding communities.

King Salman International Airport is projected to have a transformative impact on the region’s economy and infrastructure. The massive project will span 57 square kilometers and feature six parallel runways alongside nine passenger terminals. By 2030, the airport is expected to accommodate over 100 million passengers and handle two million tons of cargo annually, positioning it among the world’s largest and most capable aviation facilities.
Beyond its operational capacity, KSIA is anticipated to make a substantial economic contribution to the Kingdom. The airport is expected to contribute approximately SR27 billion per year to Saudi Arabia’s non-oil GDP, supporting the nation’s economic diversification goals. Its commercial zones and advanced logistics facilities are designed to foster regional growth and solidify the Kingdom’s position as a global hub for tourism, business, and investment.
As a wholly-owned company of the Public Investment Fund, King Salman International Airport Development Company is leading the project’s execution with a clear mandate to deliver international standards of excellence in design, technology, and environmental performance. This commitment ensures that King Salman International Airport will not only meet but exceed global benchmarks, serving as a beacon of progress and a symbol of Saudi Arabia’s future-forward vision.
