Interior Ministry Highlights Smart Security Technologies at World Defense Show

 The Ministry of Interior is showcasing smart AI-powered solutions at its pavilion at the World Defense Show, held from February 8 to 12 in Malham, north of Riyadh.
 In the field of public safety, and as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to protect lives and property, the Ministry of Interior has leveraged modern technologies in firefighting, rescue operations, crisis management, and traffic safety. By applying the highest safety standards, responding quickly to incidents, and strictly enforcing traffic regulations, the ministry has reduced traffic fatalities on Saudi roads by more than 50%. This achievement was supported by tracking and monitoring recurring accident locations and classifying them as “black spots.”
 Additionally, the ministry has also streamlined entry procedures at international ports using AI and integrated digital systems, enabling automated processes that improve the visitor experience and support the Kingdom’s position as a global tourist destination.
