Electric Equipment, Smart Robots Support Round-the-Clock Cleaning of Prophet's Mosque

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque is implementing a comprehensive, round-the-clock cleaning program at the Prophet's Mosque, including its roof, external plazas, and facilities. The program aims to provide a clean, healthy, and safe environment for worshippers.
 Specialized teams, supervised by national personnel, carry out cleaning and sterilization operations across the mosque and its facilities several times a day. The teams use electric and manual equipment and environmentally friendly cleaning agents. Their work covers the mosque's interior spaces, roof, columns, marble flooring in the external plazas, facilities, restrooms, and parking areas, helping maintain cleanliness throughout the site.
 AI-powered robots are also deployed in the plazas to support cleaning operations. Operated through onboard control panels connected to screens that identify designated routes, the robots use cameras to navigate while avoiding obstacles and pedestrians.
 These efforts integrate modern technologies into the care of the Prophet's Mosque, including its men's and women's sections, and help prepare the site to welcome large numbers of worshippers around the clock.
 The initiative reflects the continuous care and attention devoted by the Kingdom's leadership to the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.
