Heritage Commission Organizes Hospitality Initiative at Thee Ain Historical Village
The Heritage Commission has launched an initiative to welcome and congratulate visitors at Thee Ain Historical Village in Al-Makhwah Governorate, Al-Baha Region, on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
The initiative featured a hospitality corner where visitors were offered gifts and provided with detailed information about the region as a whole, with a particular focus on Thee Ain Historical Village.
The village, located 2,000 meters above sea level, boasts a rich history that spans centuries. It features stone structures with roofs made from juniper wood sourced from nearby forests. The balconies are adorned with quartz stones arranged in contiguous triangles. Additionally, the village is home to defensive fortresses built in the past for protection and surveillance. The area also benefits from an ideal agricultural environment, further enhancing its appeal as a tourist destination.
