IsDB Launches STEP Program to Empower Refugees, Displaced People, Host Communities
The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) launched a program on Sunday aimed at strengthening resilience and creating opportunities for refugees, displaced individuals, and vulnerable host communities.
The “Skills, Training, and Education Program (STEP): Empowering Lives, Building Futures” focuses on IsDB member states that host large numbers of forcibly displaced persons. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the program aims to achieve a sustainable impact and restore hope for refugees, displaced individuals, and host communities.
IsDB member countries currently accommodate more than two million forcibly displaced people.
