Makkah Municipality Announces Hajj Season Health Certificate Regulations

The Holy Makkah Municipality has released the application guidelines for seasonal health certificates for the upcoming Hajj season 1446 AH, as part of its efforts to safeguard the health and well-being of individuals working in pilgrim-serving roles.
Obtaining the mandatory seasonal health certificate involves several steps. Applicants must register via the Balady platform: https://balady.gov.sa/en. They are also required to undergo medical examinations at accredited labor inspection centers and successfully complete a health education course with an associated test. The available courses focus on key areas such as food safety, shaving practices, and general public health.
The municipality has set the expiry date for these seasonal health certificates as Muharram 15, 1447 AH, urging all seasonal workers to fulfill the requirements promptly to ensure their eligibility for participation in the Hajj season.
