Industry Minister Explores Strategic Logistics Partnerships at Port of Antwerp-Bruges

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef visited the Port of Antwerp-Bruges in Belgium to explore advanced logistics solutions and foster cooperation in port management technologies, supporting Saudi Arabia’s goal of becoming a global logistics hub.

 During a field tour of the container terminals and industrial zones, the minister emphasized the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing the global competitiveness of its industrial cities. He highlighted the strategic importance of the Port of Jazan City for Primary and Downstream Industries as a pivotal Red Sea gateway connecting international trade routes.

 Discussions with port officials focused on integrating sustainable infrastructure and clean energy solutions, leveraging Antwerp-Bruges’ status as a premier European petrochemical and logistics hub.

 This visit is part of an official mission to Belgium to strengthen economic partnerships and attract high-quality investment, in accordance with the National Industrial Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.
