Spring Scenes Observed in Desert Areas East of Rafha, Enhancing Ecotourism

The deserts and low-lying plains east of Rafha Governorate, Northern Borders Region, have been adorned in green, creating striking spring scenes that reflect the area’s natural beauty. Seasonal rainfall has transformed floodplains across the region, signaling the early arrival of spring.

 During this period, vegetation has spread across several sites, giving the landscape a distinctive environmental character and turning the area into a natural destination for residents, visitors, and desert outdoor enthusiasts. The region’s vast open spaces have further contributed to strengthening ecotourism activity.

 Several floodplains east of the governorate were observed blanketed with a variety of wild plants, creating scenes of visual appeal that attracted numerous visitors seeking to enjoy the spring atmosphere and the tranquility of the desert environment.
