Jazan Honey Exhibition Sales Exceed SAR2 Million in 10 Days
Sales at the Jazan Honey Exhibition have exceeded SAR2 million. The exhibition will continue until next Friday, reflecting strong visitor and consumer turnout.
Executive Director of the exhibition Suleiman Al-Ghazwani explained that the event, which began 10 days ago, features the participation of 60 beekeepers from across the region’s governorates. They are offering more than 15 locally produced honey varieties. He noted that this diversity has contributed to increased sales volumes and attracted large numbers of visitors.
Al-Ghazwani added that the extension of the exhibition period came in response to notable demand. He affirmed that the exhibition serves as a direct economic platform, enabling beekeepers to market their products. It has also contributed to empowering beekeepers and families working in the cottage industry, while enhancing awareness of the quality of local honey and its nutritional and economic importance.
He further indicated that accompanying activities include informational and awareness booths, as well as educational programs on beekeeping and honey quality. These activities have enriched visitors’ experiences and strengthened honey’s presence as a national product closely linked to the local environment.
