Arab League Economic and Social Council Commends SDRPY’s Contribution to Yemen’s Development

During its 118th ordinary ministerial session in Cairo, the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League commended the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) for overseeing and monitoring the implementation of the Industrial and Commercial Institute project in Aden Governorate.
 Affiliated with the Yemeni Ministry of Economy, Industry and Investment, the institute aims to enhance the capabilities of ministry personnel, local producers, and exporters through training, workshops, and technical assistance. It also supports entrepreneurship, economic ventures, and the growth of Yemeni exports, while providing services to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises and trade and industry organizations.
 Since its inception, SDRPY has delivered 300 development projects and initiatives across eight key sectors, benefiting millions of Yemenis. These efforts have supported education, healthcare, energy, water, transport, agriculture and fisheries, development programs, and capacity building for the Yemeni government.
