KSrelief Team Conducts Field Visit to Water Desalination Plant Rehabilitation Project in Port Sudan

A team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) today conducted a field visit to the water desalination plant rehabilitation project in the southern part of Port Sudan in Sudan.
 The plant consists of two units, each producing 1,500 cubic meters, with a combined daily production capacity of 3,000 cubic meters. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, rehabilitated the plant to provide clean, desalinated drinking water for about 50 neighborhoods and residential blocks in Port Sudan, where suitable groundwater for drinking is lacking.
 The project is part of the humanitarian and relief efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to support the water and sanitation sector and alleviate the suffering of people in need and those affected across various Sudanese states.
