Masam Project Clears Over 2,100 Explosive Hazards in Yemen

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief) Masam Project cleared 2,108 explosive hazards across Yemen during the fourth week of January.

 Cleared explosives included 31 anti-personnel mines, 75 anti-tank mines, 2,000 items of unexploded ordnance, and two improvised explosive devices.

 As a result, the total number of explosive hazards cleared in January reached 2,862, bringing the cumulative total removed since the launch of the Masam Project to 534,813.

 Saudi Arabia, through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, continues its explosive-clearance efforts in Yemen aimed at protecting civilians and supporting safer and more dignified living conditions for the Yemeni people.
