Civil Defense Team Continues Participation in World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport in Azerbaijan

The Saudi Civil Defense team continues its participation in the World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport, held in the Republic of Azerbaijan from November 2 to 8, 2026, and organized by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations and the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers.

 The Civil Defense team is competing in four main events: hook ladder climbing, the 100-meter hurdles, the 400-meter relay race, and the fire extinguishing challenge.

 The participation aims to enhance the physical and technical capabilities of Civil Defense personnel through competitions that simulate field operations, while developing teamwork, rapid response, and endurance skills to carry out firefighting and rescue operations accurately and efficiently.
