NCVC Expands Camping Sites, Streamlines Permits for Winter Season

The National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC) has launched the camping permit service for the current 2025 season via its "Nabati" electronic platform, coinciding with the onset of winter.

 This service is part of the NCVC's efforts to facilitate procedures and organize camping. Applicants can now easily secure a permit by filling out the required information and agreeing to the pledge through the platform.

 The center has expanded the scope of permissible camping to include additional sites within its vegetation cover—such as national parks, natural pastures, and forests—across several regions of the Kingdom. It encourages people to enjoy the tranquility of these natural areas but stresses that camping without a permit will expose violators to fines.
