GEOSA Releases Professional Reference Guide for Geospatial Sector

The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA) has issued a professional guide covering eight geospatial fields to support the development of the geospatial sector’s professional framework, promote specialized practices, and provide a professional reference for regulating geospatial professions.
 The guide was issued following the completion of its registration procedures with the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP).
 It covers eight main geospatial fields: land surveying, aerial surveying, mobile mapping, cartography, geographic information systems, hydrographic surveying, geodesy, and remote sensing.
