NWC Pumps 730,000 Cubic Meters of Water Daily in Makkah During Ramadan
The National Water Company (NWC) has finalized its operational plan for Ramadan 1447 AH, ensuring the steady daily supply of 730,000 cubic meters of water to Makkah.
NWC stated that pumping to the Grand Mosque and the central area will remain continuous 24 hours a day under constant monitoring by a specialized control center using electronic sensors to manage flow rates and tank levels.
Supported by a workforce of over 1,500 employees and 60 specialized field teams, the company said it is prepared to address maintenance and emergencies around the clock. To guarantee safety, the central laboratory will conduct more than 1,000 daily quality tests to meet international standards.
Additionally, environmental treatment plants in the region are set to process 650,000 cubic meters of wastewater daily, while customers can access support via the NWC app or the 24/7 contact number at 8004411110.
