Saudi Arabia Re-Elected to Chair ARADO Executive Council

The General Assembly of the Arab Organization for Administrative Development (ARADO), at its 59th Ordinary Session, renewed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s chairmanship of the ARADO’s Executive Council for the 2026–2028 term, with the approval of all member states. The assembly made the decision during its meeting yesterday at ARADO’s headquarters in Cairo, with the participation of Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi, along with ministers and representatives of the member states of the General Assembly.

 During the meeting, the General Assembly discussed a number of agenda items, most notably following up on the implementation of decisions adopted at the previous session, reviewing reports on the organization’s achievements for 2024 and 2025, and discussing its budget plans for 2025 and 2026, including activities, events, and training programs the organization plans to implement.

 The meeting also addressed selecting members of the Financial and Administrative Oversight Committee from among General Assembly members for 2027 and 2028, as well as reviewing member states' successful administrative experiences and exchanging expertise and practices in administrative development.

 Saudi Arabia's re-election as chair of the Executive Council underscores the confidence it enjoys and its role in supporting joint Arab action and ARADO efforts.
