Defense Minister Meets Iranian President in Tehran

Under the direction of the Kingdom's leadership, Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met with President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian at the presidential palace in Tehran on Thursday.

 During the meeting, the minister of defense conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, along with their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the government and brotherly people of Iran.

 In turn, President Pezeshkian expressed his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.

 The meeting explored means of enhancing Saudi-Iranian relations and discussed various regional and international developments and the efforts being made to address them.

 Several high-level officials attended the meeting.
