More than 184,000 Health Services Provided to Pilgrims During Ramadan

The healthcare system delivered 184,509 services to Umrah pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque throughout Ramadan.

The efforts aimed to facilitate access to healthcare, ensure high-quality service, and enable pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and peace of mind. The initiative aligns with the objectives of the “Health Sector Transformation” and “Pilgrim Experience Program" programs under the Saudi Vision 2030.

Services included 109,793 emergency department visits, 64,892 beneficiaries of primary healthcare, 8,687 hospital admissions, and 794 surgical procedures, all provided within an integrated and highly efficient healthcare system. The efforts were coordinated across the health sector to maintain service quality and sustainability. The Ministry of Health supervised operations to enhance efficiency, ensure compliance with regulations, and consolidate the standard of care provided to pilgrims.
