ICAIRE Wins WSIS 2026 Excellence Award for Trilingual AI and Data Terms Glossary

The International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE) received a certificate of excellence at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Prizes 2026, in recognition of its Trilingual AI and Data Terms Glossary's role in advancing the Arabic language in high-tech fields.
The glossary, launched by ICAIRE in partnership with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language, and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, serves as a specialized knowledge resource designed to enrich Arabic technical content, standardize modern terminology, and support the growth of a sustainable digital economy.
The interactive glossary includes over 1,200 terms accessible in Arabic, English, and French. It facilitates knowledge exchange and support collaborative efforts among global scientific institutions, providing researchers and decision-makers with accurate terminology.
This award highlights the growing international impact of ICAIRE, a UNESCO Category II center based in Riyadh that is dedicated to aligning AI developments with cultural and linguistic preservation.
