Grand Mosque Sees 3.4 Million Visitors on Ramadan 26

A record number of worshippers and Umrah performers flocked to the Grand Mosque for the last 10 days of Ramadan, seeking Laylat al-Qadr, the most blessed night in the year.

According to the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, the total number of visitors to the Grand Mosque yesterday reached 3,441,600.

The authority uses sensors at main entrances to track number of worshippers and Umrah performers, improving crowd management and operational efficiency in collaboration with other entities.
