Algerian Finance Minister Receives IsDB President

Algerian Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Board of Governors for 2025 Abdul Karim Buzard received President of the Islamic Development Bank Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser today at the ministry in Algiers.
 Discussions during the meeting addressed prospects for cooperation and explored ways to enhance the strategic partnership between the two sides, with a particular focus on the new partnership framework, which will be officially announced during the IsDB Annual Meetings scheduled to be held in Algiers from May 19 to 22.
 The two sides also reviewed ways to resume cooperation in financing strategic projects that contribute to sustainable development and the enhancement of infrastructure in Algeria. They emphasized the importance of developing railway infrastructure as a key component in promoting sustainable economic growth, reducing environmental impact, improving quality of life, and strengthening regional integration.
