Saudi Students Secure Multiple Grand Prizes and Medals at 2026 International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva

The Tuwaiq Academy, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Misk Schools, and technical schools for gifted students, announced a historic Saudi achievement at the 2026 International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, where Al-Jawhara Al-Qahtani became the first Saudi to win the Grand Prize for general education globally, while also securing the Grand Prize in the 15-18 age category and a gold medal with honors for her PulMind, an AI platform for respiratory disease diagnosis and gene editing. Additionally, Sari Al-Qahtani won the Grand Prize in the 12-15 age category and a gold medal for his patented Saudi Smart Quest robotic exploration system.

 Silver medals were awarded to Abdulaziz Al-Turki and Fares Al-Nimr for a solar cell analyzer, Abdulkarim Al-Mohammed and Basel Abu Hawi for a groundwater monitoring robot, Tamim Al-Subaiheen for a synthetic gas catalyst, and Maya Al-Jabri, Mariam Al-Qudsi, and Farid Al-Qudsi for an ISS air leak repair.

 This achievement follows the students' training in intensive educational camps at the academy headquarters, conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Education and based on global competitive standards and practical application. Tuwaiq Academy CEO Abdulaziz Alhammadi emphasized the academy's ongoing mission to discover and prepare national talent for global technology leadership through professional and intensive programs.
