Saudi Scouts: Spirit of Giving in Service of Worshippers at Two Holy Mosques
In the courtyards and corridors of the two holy mosques, young men and women in scout uniforms move calmly and confidently among the crowds, their smiles reflecting a spirit of generosity and service, creating one of the most inspiring images of volunteer work.
Since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association has mobilized over 750 scouts, youth members, and leaders to support relevant authorities in ensuring the comfort and safety of visitors, Umrah performers, worshippers, and fasting individuals at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.
Their roles extend beyond field guidance and assistance to creating a fully integrated volunteer environment supported by qualified scouting personnel, flexible technologies, and tailored digital solutions that enhance service efficiency and facilitate operations. These efforts align with the broader collaborative framework among various sectors dedicated to serving worshippers.
Such participation reflects Saudi Arabia’s honorable and civilizational image in serving the Two Holy Mosques, where national talents and competencies integrate seamlessly, and volunteerism remains a deeply rooted societal value and a source of pride for its people.
