Commerce Minister, Cabinet Secretary-General Lead 9th NCC Legal Committee Meeting with 34 Government Entities
The Legal Committee of the Unit for Supporting Regulations at the National Competitiveness Center (NCC) convened its 9th meeting today at the NCC headquarters in Riyadh. The meeting was chaired by Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of the National Competitiveness Center Majid Al-Kassabi and attended by Secretary-General of the Cabinet Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Abdulkarim.
According to a press release issued by the NCC today, the committee reviewed 27 initiatives and their resulting outcomes, including progress on the “Enhancing Preventive Measures to Protect Beneficiaries’ Rights in Estate Division” initiative, along with identified proposals addressing challenges faced by the Istitlaa platform.
The meeting, attended by legal directors and heads of departments from 34 government entities, also considered several proposals and recommendations aimed at addressing legislative and regulatory challenges that impact the Kingdom’s competitive environment.
The NCC is driving Saudi Arabia’s global competitiveness by addressing key challenges across the public and private sectors. Through targeted initiatives, practical solutions, and best-practice implementation, the NCC is helping elevate the Kingdom’s position in international rankings and reports.
