Saudi Man's Passion for Heritage Preservation Keeps History Alive in Haql

Amid the fragrance of the past and cherished memories, Salman Al-Omrani from Haql Governorate, Tabuk Region, has transformed his private majlis into a window to bygone days.

With passion and dedication, he displays an extensive heritage collection that includes copies of the Holy Quran, vintage newspapers, televisions, telephones, sewing machines, cassette tapes, traditional furniture, textiles, and other artifacts he has gathered over the years.

These carefully curated items reflect Al-Omrani's personal efforts to preserve cultural heritage and offer visitors a chance to explore authentic memories of the community's past.

Al-Omrani told the Saudi Press Agency that his love for national heritage inspired him to collect these treasures as a way to introduce younger generations to the lives of their ancestors and the Kingdom's development journey over the decades.

He emphasized his commitment to continue collecting, showcasing, and documenting historical tools and artifacts, along with folk poems and songs, as part of his effort to instill pride in heritage and strengthen cultural identity for future generations.
