Strong Turnout for Exhibition Accompanying ‘Theater Tour’ Project in Al-Baha

The exhibition accompanying the “theater tour” project in Al-Baha, organized by the Theater and Performing Arts Commission in cooperation with the region’s Culture and Arts Association, recorded a strong turnout from residents and visitors. Attendees praised the exhibition’s diverse artistic and heritage content, which reflected the Kingdom’s cultural and environmental richness—particularly its maritime heritage, which is central to the project’s identity—as well as the mountainous and cultural character of Al-Baha Region.

The exhibition featured 16 paintings offering artistic visions in contemporary styles inspired by the Saudi environment. It also included three photographs capturing scenes of nature, agriculture, and harvest, along with three artworks showcasing Arabic calligraphy, reflecting the beauty and authenticity of the script. The artworks received positive feedback for their artistic quality and visual impact.

The exhibition highlighted two core elements of national identity: the marine environment—symbolized by fishing, boats, and sea chants—and the natural landscapes and traditional crafts of Al-Baha Region. The display offered a visual narrative of the Kingdom’s diverse yet unified cultural heritage.

The strong attendance reflects growing community interest in cultural initiatives that preserve heritage and strengthen the connection between younger generations and the Kingdom’s artistic and historical legacy.
