Theater Tour in Al-Baha Offers Glimpse into Maritime Past

The Theater and Performing Arts Commission's nationwide tour in Al-Baha offered visitors a unique and enriching experience through an exhibition dedicated to traditional maritime crafts, the central theme of the tour's first play, "Baher."

 Attendees had the opportunity to see firsthand the craftsmanship behind making fishing cages and nets, while gaining a deeper insight into the ancient profession of pearl diving.

 Craftsmen highlighted the use of natural tools in diving and the skilled manual weaving of fishing nets, providing a nostalgic connection to the past and the lives of those who lived in coastal communities.
