IMCTC Concludes Dual Military Initiatives 'Competence' and 'Cyber' in the Maldives
The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) concluded two strategic military initiatives, "Competence" and "Cyber," in Malé, the capital of the Maldives.
The Competence initiative focused on enhancing the readiness of Maldivian naval forces in dealing with sea mines and high-risk environments. The training included theoretical instruction, mine detection and clearance techniques, and advanced field exercises simulating realistic underwater operations.
The Cyber initiative aimed at building more efficient and resilient cyber systems. The program provided specialized training in digital protection, cyber threat detection, incident response management, and strengthening the security of technological infrastructure to support national security.
These joint initiatives contribute to supporting the national security and resilience of IMCTC member states.
