Integrated Operational Tracks Launched to Support Female Worshippers at Grand Mosque
The women’s affairs agency at the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has launched its Ramadan enrichment plan at the Grand Mosque through an integrated operational system comprising six main tracks and 24 initiatives.
The plan aims to enrich the experience of female worshippers, enhance Shariah and behavioral awareness, empower women, and elevate the quality of religious services in a manner that upholds the sanctity of the site and magnifies its rituals.
The programs and initiatives are organized into six tracks: awareness and guidance; women’s scholarly and guidance affairs; enrichment and volunteering; women’s empowerment; public relations and institutional communication; and development and quality. This structure reflects comprehensive planning and a diversity of services designed to meet the needs of female worshippers across different categories and languages.
The awareness and guidance track focuses on intensifying field presence in high-density areas within the Grand Mosque and its courtyards to provide direct Shariah guidance, respond to inquiries, correct misconceptions related to worship rulings, and distribute awareness materials in multiple languages. The scholarly affairs track delivers lessons, enrichment talks, and specialized knowledge programs that enhance devotional jurisprudence and reinforce moderate values.
The enrichment and volunteering track focuses on expanding the participation of female volunteers in organizational and service work, contributing to field efforts and raising response efficiency. The women’s empowerment track aims to develop the professional and cognitive capacities of the agency’s female staff and prepare qualified female cadres to work in the environment of the two holy mosques according to high-quality standards.
The public relations and institutional communication track boosts communication channels with female worshippers and relevant entities to ensure service integration and facilitate beneficiary journey inside the Grand Mosque. The development and quality track measures performance and continuously improves operational processes in line with best practices, elevating the level of service provided.
The agency stressed that this plan represents an extension of the presidency’s mission in magnifying the scholarly and guidance role of the two holy mosques, consolidating their status as a beacon of guidance and a center for the dissemination of moderate Islamic knowledge. It noted that the initiatives were designed to achieve a sustainable religious and knowledge impact, enhancing the quality of the faith experience for female worshippers during Ramadan and contributing to an integrated service model befitting the honor of the place and the time.
