Islamic Affairs Minister Approves Winners of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Quran and Sunnah Competition for African Countries

Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance and General Supervisor of Local and International Competitions Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh approved the names of the winners of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Competition for Memorization of the Holy Quran and the Prophet’s Sunnah for African Countries in its second edition, held in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, with the participation of 100 contestants representing 53 African countries.
 He directed the completion of the organizational procedures for announcing the results and presenting awards to the winners during the competition's closing ceremony, commending the efforts of the organizing and judging committees in ensuring the success of the competition in a manner befitting its standing as a distinguished Quran and Sunnah competition.
 The total value of the competition's prizes exceeds SAR2,100,000, to be distributed among winners in the Holy Quran and Prophet’s Sunnah categories, as part of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance’s commitment to encouraging the memorization of the Quran and the Sunnah, and motivating Muslims in African countries to compete in the fields of Islamic knowledge.
