The Fifth Day of Asian Road Cycling Championship Kicks off at Qassim's Al Ghadha Park

The fifth day of the Asian Road Cycling Championship 2026 kicked off yesterday at Al Ghadha Park, in Qassim, chosen for its technical suitability for the races.

This route is pivotal, covering more than 1,300 kilometers over the next six days. The competition features diverse categories, increased participation, and mass starts, creating a dynamic racing atmosphere.

Al Ghadha Park, recognized for its beauty and Al Ghadha trees (Haloxylon persicum), embodies Qassim's desert landscape. These trees are crucial for ecological balance, stabilizing soil and providing wildlife habitats. Just as Al Ghadha tree maintains stability, cyclists strive to balance and speed across varied terrains, showcasing human endurance alongside nature's beauty.

Relocating the championship underscores the organizing committee's commitment to a comprehensive sporting experience, blending elite competition with natural landmarks and attracting significant attendance from Asia's top cyclists.
