MWL Secretary-General Meets with Pakistani Senate Chairman, Highlights Moderation and Coexistence

Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa has met with Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani in Islamabad during an official visit.

 The meeting, attended by senior Senate officials and leaders of Pakistani political parties, reviewed several issues of mutual interest.

 Al-Issa delivered a speech highlighting several intellectual and humanitarian issues. He stressed the importance of promoting dialogue and mutual understanding among peoples, as well as fostering the values of moderation and coexistence.

 During his visit, Al-Issa also met with Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi. The two sides discussed intellectual and legal issues related to religious coexistence and strengthening social cohesion in ways that support stability and reinforce the principles of justice and mutual understanding among different segments of society.
