ETEC Launches Standardized Tests to Evaluate University Graduates’ Readiness
For the fourth consecutive year, the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) is launching standardized tests for graduates of Saudi universities in collaboration with the Council of University Affairs, aiming to enhance university outcomes, improve graduate readiness for the labor market, and support Saudi Vision 2030.
This year’s tests will cover 51 majors across 50 universities, involving approximately 68,000 students from over 700 programs, and will be conducted from February 1 to 17. Developed in partnership with national entities, the assessments reflect essential skills and knowledge.
The program develops specialized frameworks for various disciplines, drawing on international best practices and national needs, with input from experts and sector representatives.
Results from the tests will serve as a diagnostic tool to identify strengths and areas for improvement in academic programs. ETEC is committed to measuring the program's impact on higher education quality and its contribution to national development goals.
