Saudi Arabia Named Guest of Honor at Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair

Saudi Arabia will participate as the Guest of Honor at the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2026, scheduled to take place from May 29 to June 7 at the World Trade Center in Kuala Lumpur.
 This participation reflects the longstanding relations between Saudi Arabia and Malaysia, while underscoring the growing cooperation between the two countries in the cultural and intellectual fields.
 The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission is leading the Kingdom’s representation at the fair and organizing a cultural program featuring a series of seminars and panel discussions with prominent intellectuals, writers, and specialists.
 The Kingdom’s pavilion displays traditional handicrafts, Saudi fashion, and folk musical instruments, in addition to exhibitions of manuscripts and archaeological replicas.
 The pavilion also includes screenings of selected Saudi films and the participation of several government agencies, cultural institutions, and specialized entities.
