Wages Protection Program Ensures Employee Rights in Private Sector Establishments
Since its launch in 2013, the wages protection program has been a cornerstone of the labor market regulatory framework, monitoring wage payments for all employees in private-sector establishments and promoting a fair, transparent, and accountable work environment.
The continued implementation of the program reaffirms the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s commitment to upholding the principles of justice and protecting rights, while strengthening the efficiency of contractual relationships between establishments and employees.
The program electronically documents salary transfers for all employees through banks and financial institutions via the Mudad platform, which offers integrated solutions and services that ensure wages are paid on time and in the amounts agreed upon by both parties to the employment contract.
This program significantly contributes to reducing labor disputes, building accurate databases that support sustainable growth in the private sector, and creating a robust legal and technical framework that strengthens market credibility among local and international investors.
