Heavy Equipment Forum and Expo in Eastern Region to Focus on Industrial Growth in February

Under the patronage of Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef and organized by the National Industrial Development Center (NIDC), the Heavy Equipment Connect Forum and Expo will take place at Dhahran Expo in Eastern Region from February 2 to 4.
 The forum serves as a strategic national platform reflecting the Kingdom’s drive to build an advanced industrial base in the machinery and heavy equipment sector. It aims to bring together industrial leaders, investors, and experts from Saudi Arabia and abroad to explore growth opportunities, strengthen supply chains, and enhance the sector’s regional and global competitiveness.
 The event will highlight the pivotal role of the heavy equipment industry in enabling strategic sectors, most notably mining, infrastructure, and construction. The sector is recognized as one of the key enablers for achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and its national programs focused on industrial localization and strengthening local content.
 Among its main themes, the forum and exhibition will feature a portfolio of high-quality investment opportunities in the heavy equipment sector valued at more than SAR8 billion. It will also promote strategic public–private partnerships and showcase the latest industrial innovations and advanced technologies.
 The event is expected to draw broad participation from government entities, prominent local and global industrial companies, construction and contracting firms, service providers, and industry specialists, reinforcing its role as an effective platform for knowledge exchange and for forging long-term partnerships.
 Organizing the Heavy Equipment Connect Forum reflects the NIDC’s mandate to lead sustainable industrial development, support high-value-added sectors, and foster an investment environment that contributes to building an integrated industrial ecosystem aligned with the National Industrial Strategy.
