Ithra Launches 'Ithra Spain Cultural Days' with 130 Cultural and Performing Events

The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) is set to launch "Ithra Spain Cultural Days " from January 12 to 31, 2026, featuring 130 diverse cultural, performing, and theatrical events showcasing Spanish culture. The program will take place at Ithra’s headquarters in Dhahran.

 The events come as part of Ithra’s mission to strengthen cultural and civilizational exchange with the world. The program includes workshops, interactive experiences, dialogue sessions, theatrical performances, and exhibitions inspired by Spanish culture, offering an immersive experience that reflects the authenticity and depth of a civilization with a history spanning hundreds of years.

 Ithra Programs Manager Noura Alzamil explained that cultural exchange is a core pillar of Ithra’s work, noting that celebrating Spain’s culture and history reflects this approach. She added that this year’s Ithra Cultural Days have a special character, as they highlight Spain’s culture, civilization, and heritage.

 She stated that the cultural activities include drawing, printing, installation art, coloring, live performances, artistic workshops, flamenco learning sessions, ceramic-making, traditional Spanish fan-making, and explorations of Spanish crafts and traditions. The program also offers a journey through heritage and creativity, featuring performances, music, and theater.
